Hello everyone! We are pleased to announce that the SWFL Soft Staking dApp is ready for Main Net. For those of you who have been here from the start, you’d know that staking was not scheduled to be this early in the development roadmap, but the majority of the supporters in our Telegram group suggested that we move it forward, and we were convinced.
Due to this, we spent three days post-token sale to whip up a quick staking dApp for the holders of SWFL tokens to lock their tokens and receive the benefits. Our staking dApp charges a flat fee of 2.5% for every staking and unstaking, and then distributes the fee proportionally to the remaining stakers. Stakers will also receive the rewards dripped from the SWFL Staking Funds, releasing 2,100,000 SWFL over a year.
In the short amount of time, considering the time needed to test in Ropsten (while it was congested, what luck!), we decided to release a dApp with minimal UI features. I will be quick to state that we will improve the UI as we go, adding more wallet integrations along the way (Currently we only enable Metamask wallet login for stakers) and introduce more advanced features. In the meantime, I believe the suggestions of the community have been addressed.

Swapfolio SWFL Staking Guide
NOTE: This early version of our staking dApp is only compatible with Metamask on desktops. We will improve on the Web3 wallet integration in the near future.
Step 1 — Fill in the stake amount (don’t use any decimals) and a green approve button will appear. Click on approve and sign the transaction. Wait for confirmation.
Step 2- Double check your staking amount and click on the stake button. Sign the transaction using Metamask.
Step 3- Wait for the staking transaction to confirm and you will see your staking balance and percentage of your staking pool share.
Step 4- Your rewards will show up in this section. To claim rewards to your wallet, click on the “Claim SWFL” button and approve the transaction.
For this early version, you will need to manually stake the rewards you claimed to reinvest.
To unstake, just do the same thing in the “withdraw SWFL” section.
